Questions, Answered
Does Pepa make things up?
Not on purpose. Pepa only uses what your document says or what you tell her. When she rewords something, it stays marked until you approve it, and nothing unapproved is printed. Like any AI, she can misread a document, so check your CV before you send it.
Can job portals read my CV?
With Essential or Pro, yes: your PDF is real text, and Pepa reads it back the way a portal would, to warn you if anything gets lost. The free PDF is a preview, an image of each page with a watermark, so most portals can't read it. Nobody can promise a portal will pick you, but your paid CV will be readable.
What happens to my data?
Your CV lives in your browser. If you save it to an account, it's stored on our server, encrypted with a key that belongs to your account. To talk and design, your details go through Anthropic, the company behind Claude; we don't use them to train AI. Designs delete themselves 30 days after your last change (and from backups 14 days later), and you can delete your data or your account at any time.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once, and your plan works for 30 days: edit, switch designs and download as often as you like.
Which languages does Pepa speak?
English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese and Hindi. Your CV doesn't have to be in the language you chat in.
How do I pay?
By credit or debit card, on our payment partner's secure checkout. Prices are in US dollars, and your bank converts them if needed.
Can I pick it up later, on another device?
Yes. Save your CV and log in with a code we email you, no password needed. Your CVs will be there on any device. Anything else? Write to support@hellopepa.com.
